What's in a Name?
"Kinovus" is a coined name built from the roots of two ideas: movement — think kinetic energy, forward motion — and "novus," the Latin word for new. The combination is intentional, capturing the idea of moving confidently into something new, whether that's a cleaner set of books, a brand-new website, or a fresh chapter in business.
Honestly, it's also just a name the founder genuinely likes — and sometimes the best decisions come from trusting your instincts rather than overthinking them.

30+ Years of Business Experience
David Coons, shown here with his wife Mindy, brings over 30 years of hands-on business experience spanning financial management, operations, and technology. He launched Kinovus Solutions not because it was the logical next career move, but because he wanted to build something that reflects his values — faith, family, and genuine service to others. Based in Colorado Springs, CO, he serves clients remotely across the country, bringing big-firm expertise with a small-business heart.
His faith is not a footnote — it shapes how he works, how he treats clients, and what he believes business is ultimately for.
How Kinovus Came to Be
After decades working in and around businesses of all shapes and sizes, David kept seeing the same problems — small business owners drowning in financial paperwork they didn't have time for, and entrepreneurs trying to build an online presence with no idea where to start. The tools existed, the talent existed, but the gap between the quality of help people needed and the kind they could actually afford or find was wide enough to drive a truck through. That kept bothering him.
Kinovus Solutions was built to close that gap. Two focused divisions — Financial and Digital — each doing fewer things and doing them well, without the overhead or impersonal feel of a large agency or accounting firm. Small enough to care. Experienced enough to deliver.
